Opportunity, Inc., Early Learning Center celebrates its 75th Anniversary of Community Service with an exhibit of its history at The Historical Society of Palm Beach County History Museum, January 21, 2014, by invitation. Harvey Oyer will deliver the feature address. Original exquisite shell-work design by Opportunity Inc. sponsored Riviera Crafts will be featured. The exhibit will remain on display from January 22 until February 28, 2014.
Today, Opportunity, Inc. serves low income families with programs designed to “break the cycle” of poverty in our community through a “Five Star” Early Childhood Education at the Mary Alice Fortin Center in Westgate.
On January 21st, the Mayor of the Town of WestPalm Beach, Jeri Muoio, will signa proclamation announcing January 21st, 2014 as Opportunity, Inc. day, in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Opportunity, Inc. and of the organizational contribution to the community. The City of West Palm Beach joins Opportunity, Inc. in celebrating this important milestone, and the legacy of dedication to serving those at-risk. The 75th Anniversary Celebration Gala, the last of the anniversary celebrations, featuring the Soul Survivors Band, will take place at the Breakers Hotel, Palm Beach on March 28th.
